Gigabyte Motherboard Drivers Auto Detect
Recently, soon after I reboot my system, I see a dialog that keep on insisting me to install ' System Interrupt Controller, ' as I proceed and opt for automatic driver search, the system attempting to install it, keeps on finding it indefinitely. In the device manager I see uninstalled System Interrupt Controller under Other Devices. I am using original OS of Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack Build 2600. And Motherboard/System Manufacturer Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. and System Model G41MT-S2, its a X86 based PC with a processor X86 Family 6 Model Stepping 10 GenuineIntel ~3000MHz.
Though I have not attempted to repair or reinstall my OS, but I have downloaded all relevant drivers from Gigabyte G41MT-S2 instead of the fact that I am having the oroginal Drivers DVD that came with the Gigabyte Motherboard G41MT-S2 but after installation the display resolution was defective and I have restored my PC to an earlier state but said problem remained same, i.e. System Interrupt Controller automatic installation attempt by the system. I see a blog entry that states, 'Problem solved, turned out to be related to the 1394 firewire device, removed it and reinstalled in and the problem was gone... ' But I still need a detailed advice, so anybody got any ideas how to resolve this issue?
