What you'll need

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

1. Tap Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store.
2. Turn on the content that you want to automatically download.

After you turn on Automatic Downloads for music, apps, or books and audiobooks on all of your devices, all new purchases that you make in the App Store, iTunes Store, or Apple Books on any device download automatically to all of your devices.

Turn on Updates to get Automatic Updates for apps. Any new versions of apps that you currently have on your device will automatically download when they're available.

You can also turn Automatic Downloads on or off over your cellular network on an iPhone or iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular. Go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store and turn Use Cellular Data on or off. Cellular Data downloads are limited to a file size of 150 MB or smaller.

On your computer

You can turn on Automatic Downloads for apps for your Mac in the App Store; for music, movies, and TV shows in iTunes; and for books in Apple Books.

App Store

1. Open the App Store.
2. From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen, choose App Store > Preferences.
3. To turn on Automatic Downloads, select 'Automatically download apps purchased on other Macs.' To turn on Automatic Updates, select Automatic Updates.
   

iTunes

1. Open iTunes. If you haven't authorized your computer, choose Store > Authorize This Computer from the menu bar at the top of your computer screen.
2. Mac: From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen, choose iTunes > Preferences.
   Windows: From the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, choose Edit > Preferences.
   
3. Click the Downloads tab, then select the content that you want to automatically download.
   
4. Click OK.

Apple Books

1. Open Apple Books.
2. From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen, choose Books > Preferences. Then click the Store tab.
3. Select 'Download new purchases automatically.'
   
4. If prompted, sign in with your Apple ID.

I have an LG Optimus Hub android phone. My problem is that every time I try to download apps from play store I get a message saying 'insufficient internal memory'. I have tried to clear as much internal memory as possible by deleting other apps and moving some to my 32Gb Sd card but I still get the same message. I hardly have any apps in my phone!!!

Is there a way that I could download my apps directly into the Sd?

Please help, otherwise the phone works fine, I am trying to avoid the purchase of a new phone.
